I’m considering installing aftermarket Halo LEDs on my car. Cost is $100-$150, but I’m not sure if that includes 2 or all 4 headlights. TMA (tell me anything) about them, like installation time, cost, best quality, etc.
Also, what grille would look best? I think either a ‘Cuda-style “cheese grater” grille or a ‘69 Charger-style phantom grille would be great. TMA about it also.

I'd just use cheap grille mesh, and replicate the General Mayhem. YMMV. But out of those two options, the phantom grille.

Me everytime I see aftermarket halo's.
If you upgrade to new stock thats different. But if you must go aftermarket #HaloHeadlightsBro, just avoid Oracle.

None, it's a free car. Don't get too ahead of yourself.

it still baffles me that people still buy their kids 30 thousand dollar+ cars. Then again it might be the jealousy in me of having to work for my stuff

I wish my parents would have bought me a $30k car!
I'd feel way too guilty to ever accept a first car costing that much. It just wouldn't feel right at all. Just not how I roll.

Yeah my first car was a handy me down contour when my dad got his truck, then my grandparents sold my parents their old accord for like 4 grand under blue book that my sister and I shared when the contour died, then when my grandpa bought a new truck I got his old Dakota that I paid 2 grand for but it was a steal cause it was a 10 year old truck with 30k miles on it. Then when I sold that I got my saturn which was the first car ever titled in my name and even that was 7 grand. Hell my wife's cobalt is the most expensive car to have my name on it and that was 12. But to have my parents go out and drop 30 large on me I don't know how to react.
My in laws want to help with a down payment for our next suv (will be a sub 15k truck) cause my saturn is on its last legs and we both aren't sure if we even want to accept that

That's the right way to do first cars, hand me downs and inexpensive cars that can be beat on a bit while learning the hang of things.
Like, I honestly couldn't accept something that cost that much. I just simply couldn't. I'd feel pretty ashamed.
You deserve it! If what I've heard is right, being an EMT is a pretty stressful job.

It's stressful but still better than the 8 years I put into circuit city and best buy. Just wish the pay reflected the work

Yup, that's the thing. Police Officers, Medics, Fire Fighters, Game wardens and countless others don't get the pay and respect they deserve.

THANK YOU!
I'm 17 and drive a base 13 civic. Why? I'm leasing it. I pay for everything on it. I've worked since I was 14 to be able for.
This... It disgusts me

I love you for this!
